She has served as both a board member of the Livingston County Child Abuse Prevention Council and Women’s Resource Center (who merged with LACASA). She was appointed by the Livingston County Board of Commissioners to the Livingston County Friend of the Court Advisory Board serving for nearly a decade. Andrea has a long-supported history of advocating for both men and women in the matters of divorce, custody, parenting time, and Probate and Estate matters.
She is qualified as a Mediator and Collaborative Lawyer and a long-time member of Mediate First Michigan, an organization that shares her commitment to assisting families to resolve legal matters using mediation and other out of court options, whenever possible. Andrea is a graduate of the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University and holds a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University. A life-long resident of Livingston County, Andrea has deep professional and personal ties to the Livingston County community. Deeply rooted in this community, she attended Brighton Area Schools through grade school and high school and chose to raise her family in Livingston County, along with her husband who is a City of Howell Police Officer. Andrea has two children, whom you may find her watching on the sideline of their sporting event.
As a mother, business owner and wife of a public servant she has a deep understanding of the complex issues facing families in the Livingston County and surrounding communities. Andrea’s perspective is to vigorously advance each client’s interests while being mindful of the impact extended litigation can have on families if the wrong approach is taken to resolve family law and estate matters. Andrea focuses on excellent outcomes for her clients while avoiding unnecessary conflicts for parties who are experiencing major changes that impact them both personally and professionally.
Andrea is also an active member of the Livingston County Bar Association, and Family Law and Probate and Estate Planning Sections of the Michigan State Bar Association.
